We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our reputable client's team. This individual will be integral to ensuring machinery operates smoothly and will make a significant contribution to the overall quality, efficiency, and productivity of the business.

 

Qualifications:

  • Required knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Proficiency in technology, mechanics, and specific mechanical software.
  • Understanding of product specifications, quality measures, and production metrics.
  • Strong computer skills encompassing email, word processing, spreadsheets, and project management software.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with technicians and managerial staff.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.

 

Essential Duties:

  • Dedicate majority of time to hands-on efforts to improve machine reliability through different measures.
  • Champion a safety-first culture with a goal of zero incidents.
  • Partner with Maintenance Management to reach yearly goals and KPIs.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and devise strategies to address persistent issues.
  • Design and apply efficient preventive maintenance practices.
  • Initiate projects to improve equipment reliability.
  • Set and follow repair standards in accordance with OEM guidelines.
  • Coordinate maintenance projects and communicate updates using the MOC tool.
  • Offer support during equipment downtimes, setups, and start-ups.
  • Guide Maintenance/Controls Techs in resolving issues.
  • Review equipment performance, diagnose issues, and introduce corrective measures.
  • Share technical knowledge with the team and management.
  • Work towards minimizing equipment malfunctions and refining safety and maintenance methods.
  • Train maintenance personnel on new procedures and updates.
  • Uphold a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Track and meet maintenance KPIs and annual targets.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.
  • Oversee contractors, ensuring adherence to set specifications.
  • Validate precision maintenance work and maintain associated records.
  • Engage actively in all planning and scheduling discussions.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
