Searching for a Quality Engineer with a strong foundation in high-speed manufacturing quality and ISO procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in quality engineering.
  • Proficient knowledge of ISO standards and high-speed manufacturing quality processes.
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications:
    • ASQ Certification or equivalent (CQA or CQT mandatory; CQE is a plus).
    • Experience with formal Quality Systems like ISO 9001, GMP/QSR, etc.

 

Essential Duties:

  • Oversee and manage staff performance, addressing any disciplinary issues as needed.
  • Perform quality tests following set procedures.
  • Evaluate quality data to pinpoint areas for improvement and corrective actions.
  • Implement statistical methods in testing, validation, and inspection activities.
  • Lead and engage in quality-focused projects, including product development and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and non-conformities.
  • Act as the primary liaison for supplier evaluations and raw material qualifications.
  • Conduct and oversee both internal and external quality audits.
  • Maintain and manage QA department's quality records.
  • Update or modify Quality Management System procedures as needed.
  • Highlight major issues from quality checks and suggest improvements to management.
  • Communicate quality system updates to the team.
  • Give laboratory tours, providing explanations about our Quality System.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure appropriate use of safety equipment.
  • Comply with GMP and other regulatory standards.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
