Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the chemical industry, with expertise in safety and environmental matters.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in people management.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Expertise in change management.
- Proficient analytical and decision-making skills.
- Diplomacy in dealings with regulatory authorities.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related scientific field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Essential Duties:
- Establish the HSE Team structure, define roles, and set expectations.
- Promote team cohesion, engagement, and innovation among top talent.
- Develop clear communication goals and tools for transparent dialogue.
- Share incident reports, communicate risk information, and represent us in external committees.
- Create a visionary HSE strategy aligned with our business values.
- Analyze data and culture for a long-term plan, implementing systems for HSE risk management.
- Conduct risk management and compliance audits, setting key performance metrics.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
