Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the chemical industry, with expertise in safety and environmental matters.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in people management.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Expertise in change management.
  • Proficient analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Diplomacy in dealings with regulatory authorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related scientific field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

 

Essential Duties:

  • Establish the HSE Team structure, define roles, and set expectations.
  • Promote team cohesion, engagement, and innovation among top talent.
  • Develop clear communication goals and tools for transparent dialogue.
  • Share incident reports, communicate risk information, and represent us in external committees.
  • Create a visionary HSE strategy aligned with our business values.
  • Analyze data and culture for a long-term plan, implementing systems for HSE risk management.
  • Conduct risk management and compliance audits, setting key performance metrics.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
